My name is Jinny and I’m the creator behind this blog, The Urban Quarters.
This little space within the huge virtual world is for me to share all the things I love – roaming the world, filling my belly with delicious and styling my home with beautiful design.
A BIT ABOUT ME:
WHERE DO I LIVE?:
I’m currently enjoying London life but I will always call home Sydney!
WHERE CAN YOU FIND ME ON WEEKENDS?:
Aimlessly meandering around interior design stores, seeking out the best foodie joints in town and googling places for my next holiday.
MY ULTIMATE FOOD WEAKNESS?:
This is a tough one but it would either be a hot cinnamon donut or freshly baked bread with a hunk of comte!
All types of lettering and watercolours!
I am a keen photographer (our household has 3 DSLRs, 2 film cameras, 1 polaroid camera + several i-something devices!) and one of those annoying people that won’t let you eat until I’ve taken a picture of your meal from every angle! All photos are mine (or Mr TUQs) unless stated otherwise!
I hope you enjoy wandering around!
Work with me:
I am available for product styling, blog posts and interior photography work. Some of the brands I’ve had the pleasure of working with include:
Design Letters: Danish design company represented in more than 800 shops in 40 countries.
Anthropologie: A one-of-a-kind destination for those seeking a curated mix of clothing, accessories, gifts and home décor to reflect their personal style and fuel their lives’ passions.
Davidstow Cheddar: Cheese from the Cornish Village which has been meticulously crafted for over 60 years.
Inky Co: Melbourne’s designer goods paper company.
One Tiny Tribe: Prints and artwork created in Melbourne, Australia.
Lustre Melbourne: Beautifully set candles from Melbourne, Australia
I am extremely lucky to be able to work with lots of lovely brands and I only work with brands that I truly love. I will always note when products or experiences have been gifted to me but my opinions will always remain true to me and my style.
