At home in Sydney, I used to read blogs on my commute to and from work but there isn’t internet on the tube in London which means I spend all my time reading books instead.
So the other day I got out my iPad and decided to have a good blog reading session. Before I knew it, I’d spent a few hours catching up on some of my favourite blogs. I forgot how much I enjoyed reading blogs and finding new inspiration and recipes!
So I thought I would regularly share some of my favourite blogs more often… And that slowly turned into wanting to start a regular ‘What I’m Reading Now’ feature on my blog because who doesn’t love a good read?
Without further ado, here are some of my favourite blogs right now.
Design Blog: Martyn White Designs
Ode to my lovely friend Martyn! Martyn and I first met at a design event and we have been like two peas in a pod from the very beginning. He’s the only person that greets me with a Dirty Dancing Lift and I’m quite okay with that!
Martyn has a gorgeous design blog with plenty of interior inspiration from all around the world. He creates these gorgeous edits featuring different interior styles like Moroccan Luxury, New Art Deco and Nordic Home. These include everything from paint colours, furniture and home accessories so you can achieve the look in your own place.
The talented little bunny also recently launched his own candle line which I can’t stop raving about. Knowing Martyn, I knew these candles would be the best quality and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Everything from the packaging, the wooden wick to the scent is utter perfection. I sincerely hope there will be more editions coming soon!

Food Blog: Eat Little Bird
My mouth literally starts watering every time I see Thanh’s pictures on my Instagram feed.
What I love about Thanh’s blog is that her recipes are a lovely mix of all the cuisines that are part of her cultural heritage. Thanh is an Australian-born Vietnamese who is married to a Frenchman and lives Switzerland. In between looking after two tiny tots, she manages to cook dishes that will warm your belly and your soul.
If you love Vietnamese food then definitely try out her Sticky Chicken Pho recipe. It’s kind of like cheat’s pho but the sticky chicken makes up for not spending hours simmering the traditional broth.
Or if you’re more in the mood for something sweet then her Honey Madeleines are superb! I also want to try to make her Pumpkin Bundt Cake recipe which looks divine! Who am I kidding? It all looks good and all her recipes are perfectly achievable yet delicious at the same time!

Photography Blog: Hannah Argyle
If you appreciate good photography then you must take a peek at Hannah Argyle’s blog. Hannah is a mum, blogger and photographer who manages to capture the precious moments of her life through her photography.
One my favourite parts of Hannah’s blog are her pictures of the countryside. She regularly heads out into the fields to capture ‘golden hour’ with her two boys. The light in these photos is so magical and it gives me a slight urge to want to scoot off to the English countryside to live!
Speaking of her two adorable little boys, don’t these pictures just melt your heart? The boys are regularly featured on her blog cuddling up to each other or snuggling up in their Scandinavian x country charm home. Their love for each other and their mum is just too cute and it’s so lovely they will have those memories forever (and especially for their 21st birthdays!).
Although I’m not a portrait photographer, it’s definitely something I’d like to get better at. If you’re also interested in taking better photos then have a peek at Hannah’s photos for some inspiration!

Now farewell I’m off to do some more reading!
