As you know, Valentines Day is just around the corner and for those of you that are interested in writing a romantic love letter to your significant other, then I’ve got some free DIY printable valentines day cards for you! I’m all for the whole diy aspect of valentines day. Some people think they have to go all out or even spend a fortune, but that’s not the case. One time, I was given a custom photo blanket, which I thought was the sweetest gift ever. It shows that a lot of thought went into it, which is the main thing, it would just be amazing as getting couples bracelets with your special someone. So if you are like me and want to try making your own gifts, this post may be just for you!
I must admit that I don’t usually make a huge fuss out of V-day.. however that doesn’t mean that I don’t love eating fluffy red cupcakes (red velvet please Mr TUQ if you are reading this!) and writing sweet nothings to those that I love.
One of my New Year’s resolutions was to get better at brush lettering… and this has gradually turned into an obsession with importing these words into Illustrator. Instead of letting them go to waste, I’ve decided to put my doodling to good use and whip you up some cards!
And for those of you that don’t have a ‘significant other’ this Valentines Day then why don’t you print off one for your best pals, your mum or even your grandma to tell them how much you love them (the doughnut ones would be perfect!).
All you will have to do is choose your favourite card from the links below…
Print your card on a 120+gsm A4 sheet of paper (it’s slightly thicker than normal paper).
Then cut along the dotted line and fold in half. Then voila! You have yourself a Valentines Day Card!
Note: If you’re having silly printer problems then you might need to ‘scale to fit’ printing page but mine printed perfectly as is!
Of course – breakfast in bed with your coffee and a card would be a great way to start the day! I made some delicious waffles stacked with maple syrup and berries for this post (and then greedily gulped them all down afterwards!).
Hope you all have a lovely Valentines Day and it’s filled with lots of love!
